When we moved in, our house was full of quirky niches and doors — some we kept, some we modernized, and some we said goodbye to

Our dining room had a small pink niche that we painted and lived with for 3 years. But behind it was our guest room, with the tiniest closet. We also needed more flexibility in the dining space (and a home for the big arch furniture the previous owner left us)

So… we finally closed the niche! Now our guest room has a bigger closet, and our dining room is pretty.

1. Added window for light
2. Raised the ceiling for space
3. Took down walls + moved the kitchen across the house
4. Extended and upgraded storage
